The al-Farabi library hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the Republican competition of medical workers “The state language is my language”, organized by KazNU together with the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery.

The state language is one of the main symbols of our sovereign state. As any civilized country has its symbols and borders, so does the state language, and the state language is one of the main attributes of our statehood. Our Constitution says that “the state language of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the Kazakh language”. Every citizen of Kazakhstan is obliged to comply with the requirements of the Constitution and to speak the Kazakh language.
