In honor of the Day of Abai and within the framework of the 180th anniversary of the great thinker of global significance Abai Kunanbayuly, the Abai Research Institute at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in cooperation with the Farabi Library, will hold an international scientific-practical conference titled “Abai – The Conscience of Humanity.”
The conference will present the results of research conducted in the field of Abai studies by the Abai Research Institute as part of the university’s activities marking Abai’s 180th anniversary. A joint book exhibition with the Farabi Library will also be showcased, and future directions of Abai studies will be outlined.
The event will bring together Kazakhstani and international scholars in Abai studies and literature, researchers from universities and scientific institutions, doctoral and master’s students, as well as media representatives.
The international scientific-practical conference will take place on August 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Abai Hall of the Farabi Library.
An online session will also be available via the Zoom platform.
