Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was visited by a delegation of the European Parliament. The guests of honor met with scientists, representatives of the faculty and students of the university.
Representatives of the European Parliament visited the Al-Farabi Museum, where they got acquainted with the history of the university. Also, the guests were told about the activities of the Ban Ki-moon Institute at KazNU, showed a layout plan for the development of the educational institution.
The delegation of the European Parliament included: First Vice-Chairman of the European Parliament Delegation to the RoK-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, 3rd Vice-President of the EP Committee on Transport and Tourism Andris Ameriks (Latvia), Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Kazakhstan Kestutis Jankauskas, Member Delegation of the European Parliament to the RoK-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, member of the EP Foreign Affairs Committee Francisco Millan-Mon (Spain), etc.
In connection with this event, the Library. Al-Farabi organized a book exhibition.

Purpose of the exhibition: Foreign diplomats, guests and students who came to the event were acquainted with the works of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the Library. al-Farabi, as well as books about the achievements of the Kazakh National University, the works of scientists and Abu Nasir al-Farabi, Acquaintance with the work of the teaching staff of the university.

Bilyk sabastagy In the section of the exhibition dedicated to the succession of power, President K. We see publications about Tokayev’s work, his role in society through the continuation of the President’s policy, and the changes of today. Here K. Tokayev’s books “Foreign Policy”, “Diplomacy of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and in foreign English were exhibited.
Syrtky sayasat.This section of the exhibition includes books about Kazakhstan’s foreign policy, diplomacy, the role and place of Kazakhstan in the world community. The book by F. Kukeyeva “The European Union and the USA: Modern Aspects of the Transatlantic Partnership” and the books by Zh. Ibrasheva, G. Movkebaeva, K. Bayzakova.
Al-Farabi zhane onyn ruhani murasy This section presents the foreign heritage of al-Farabi, the treasure of mankind, published in foreign languages, and the works of scientists who studied al-Farabi, form integral values of the worldview based on the study and propaganda of al-Farabi. -The legacy of Farabi.
Al-Farabi atyndagy KazNU zhetystyktery Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, one of the leading universities in the country, has achieved great success in its 88-year history and made a significant contribution to the development of the country. Today, KazNU has taken a worthy place in the international space of science and education and has become one of the world’s leading universities in the field of higher education. This section contains anniversary publications dedicated to the history and achievements of the university: the chronicle of KazNU, the book “Chronicle” about scientists and teachers of the university, the book “Elite” for graduates of KazNU, famous public figures.
KazNU proffessorlyk kuramynyn enberty KazNU is a sacred house that combines education and culture. The teaching staff and teachers of the university are qualified specialists in their field, professionals in their field. This section contains works published by the teaching staff in English.
Vestnik Since 1992 KazNU named after. al-Farabi publishes the journal “Bulletin of KazNU” in a separate series for each faculty. The journals are included in the list of scientific publications recommended by the Control Committee for Education and Science for publishing the results of scientific work. The journals publish results on topical issues of fundamental, applied, scientific developments in the field of natural, technical and humanitarian sciences.
