At the Faculty of Journalism of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi, within the framework of the “Idriss Readings”, the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “POLYGRAPHICS AND MEDIA DISING: MODERN TRENDS, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS” was held.
The Department of Publishing, Editorial and Design at the Faculty of Journalism trains publishers, editors and designers. The department has its own unique history. It was founded in 1976 as a unique research arm of the Faculty of Journalism, dedicated to the analysis of journalistic skills and literary editing. Today the department has a developed information and technical base, a sufficient audience.
In connection with this event, the Library. Al-Farabi organized a book exhibition.

The purpose of the exhibition: Presentation to future generations of the outstanding scientist, teacher, writer, publicist, candidate of historical sciences, professor Abilfaiz Idrisov, who laid the foundations of the Kazakh press, made a special contribution to the development of domestic journalism.

- «Zhurnalistika – alyp muhit»Kazakh journalism has become a branch of science that studies the history and theory of newspapers, magazines, radio, television, film magazines, periodicals of Kazakhstan at different times. This section presents the work of honored teachers of journalism. Books by Aigul Ramazan “Kazakh press and the ways of formation and development of language policy in Kazakhstan”, N. Omashev “The World of Information”, N. Chingizova “Sociology of Journalism”, K. Kabylgazy “Ways of Formation of Journalistic Skills” and others are exhibited.
«Kaisar ustaz – A. Ydyrysov» He is the best teacher among those who have dedicated their lives to the prosperity of others. He devotes all his energy and energy to the education of the sons and daughters of his people. The work of teachers who give their students more knowledge and instill in them the most honest values of humanity is not in vain. Abilfaiz Idrisov is one of the teachers who dedicated his life to the future of his people.For almost half a century, he continuously taught at one of the faculties and taught students. Idrisov is a professor who laid the theoretical and methodological basis for the training of publishing personnel in the Kazakh language. Methodological guidelines, manuals and textbooks in this area are in high demand today. The readers were presented with the books “Tansholpan”, “Birtuarlar bolmysy”, “Tulgalar”, etc., dedicated to his beloved wife.
«Baspasoz-kommunikacya kuraly» The Department of Publishing and Design was established in 1998. It consists of 2 doctors of sciences, 4 associate professors, 17 senior professors, 3 teachers, 3 laboratory assistants. The press service is a “bridge” between public and official and informal, commercial and public organizations. The term “communication” appeared in the scientific literature at the beginning of the 20th century. In a broad sense, communication is considered as a process of interaction and a way of communication that allows you to create, transmit and receive various information. Communication between people takes the form of interaction. This section presents the books “Features of the editorial development of the publication” by S. Medeubekuly, “Publishing Service” by Zh. Bekbolatovich and others.
Reader direction of the exhibition: The event brought together sociologists, students and teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates, etc. at the university.
