Book exhibition “The Great scientist in the field of molecular genetics”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Kazakh geneticist, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the World Cup, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Bersimbayev Rakhmetkaz Eskendirovich.
Bersimbayev Rakhmetkazy Iskendirovich was born on March 8, 1947 in the village of Zhazatyr, Kosagashsky district of the Altai Republic , Russia. Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan. Graduated from Novosibirsk State University. Revealed the genetic instability of mutations in drosophila flies. Investigated the mechanism of cellular and molecular regulation of the genome. In 1983-84 he worked at the National Institute of Medical Sciences in London, in the medical research environment in Hanover (in 1988; in 1991); at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg (in 1988) and at Aston University (in 1994). He made problematic scientific reports at the VI and VIII International Genetic Congresses (Beijing, 1998; Seoul, 1999).
In connection with this event, the Al-Farabi Library organized a book exhibition.

The scientist’s works served as the basis for the development of many areas of molecular genetics and molecular biology.
