In the Library. Al-Farabi held an international round table “Modern woman: education, profession, career”
In the team of the Kazakh National University named after. Al-Farabi a large place is occupied by women. At present, there are 1,725 women in the teaching staff of our educational institution. They make up 63 percent of the total number of scientists. Of these, 324 are Doctors of Science, 601 Candidates of Science, 286 PhD Doctors, 1 Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and two Corresponding Members of the National Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Kazakhstan.
In connection with this event, the library to them. Al-Farabi organized a book exhibition.

Brief overview of the exhibition
1.Заманауи әйел: білім, кәсіп, мансап. Today, the image of a woman is filled with such positions as business, manager, employee. They are able not only to raise a child, but also to open a profession, to develop it. Consequently, the role of women in modern society is enormous. Thus, 47.8 percent of the region’s population today are women. Of these, 54.7 percent live in rural areas. we see that women work in all spheres of society. Indeed, today 73% of all teachers, 87% of doctors and medical workers are women. And 65% of all public sector employees are fragile. Women developing small and medium-sized businesses account for 48.3 percent. All of them earn at large enterprises in the village itself. This means that the family of village women, not only near the hearth, is active in trade and business.
2. Әйел – ана, әйел – кәсіпкер, әйел – басшы. The development of science is one of the most important priorities of the new Kazakhstan. Women scientists are undoubtedly also involved in this good cause. Indeed, in modern society, the number of women who differ in knowledge, skills, and intelligence is growing. In subsequent years, the proportion of women in the field of science increased. The achievements of women scientists who accompany their searches in the family and science should be appreciated.
3. Әлемнің әсем әшекейі…нәзік жандылар. There are many mothers in Kazakhstan who are still remembered for their intelligence, resourcefulness and upbringing, dual word, individual character. If we look at the distant Saka era, we see that Kazakh women not only danced the country with their minds, but also attacked the enemy with cunning. And their role in the upbringing of their descendants and the formation of the image of an entire dynasty is enormous. Among the Abyz mothers are Domalak ana, who participated in the campaigns of Yesim Khan, who died at the hands of the enemy – akbikesh aru, “Kui Ana” – Dina Nurpeisova, as well as Zarina, Begim, Zere.
Target audience of the exhibition: guests, participants in the opening of the educational laboratory, library readers, etc.
Exhibition materials: books, magazines.
The purpose of the exhibition: To promote the expansion of the spiritual knowledge of students, teachers, professors participating in the exhibition, to familiarize guests, students with books, articles from the library fund. Show the role of women in modern society, women-mothers, women-entrepreneurs, women-leaders, women-grandmothers. The source of goodness in the world, human qualities, kindness – all these are women.
