The grand opening of the thematic week dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan and the 175th anniversary of the birth of Zhambyl Zhabayev took place in the Al-Farabi library.
The event began with the traveling exhibition “The World of Zhambyl” of the Al-Farabi library and the museums of Zhambyl and Suyunbai, in the exposition of which the works, books and paintings of the poet are presented.

In connection with this event, the Library named after Al-Farabi organized an informational and documentary exhibition on the theme: “The World of Zhambyl”, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Zhambyl akyn.
