The Al-Farabi library hosts the “International Conference on Education and Research in Tourism and Hospitality”, timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management. The conference is focused on effective discussion in the context of sustainable development of a wide range of problems related to educational and research activities in the field of tourism and hospitality.Discussion and consolidation of the opinions of scientists and practitioners on the basis of a scientific discussion on topical issues of tourism and hospitality, their sustainable development, strategies for ensuring competitiveness and management of tourist destinations, experience in professional educational activities, the use of digital technologies and the development of tourism on the Great Silk Road.
KazNU named after Al-Farabi trains specialists in the field of tourism at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management.
