On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the birth of Yedil Ergozhin, the Al-Farabi Library organized a traditional book exhibition on the theme «Ғылымды сүйген жан» in the classical reading room.
Edil Ergozhin graduated with honors from the Chemical Faculty of the Kazakh State University named after S. M. Kirov in 1963. Head of the Institute of Chemical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, Dean, Head of the Department of Chemistry of High Molecular Compounds of the Chemical Faculty of the Kazakh State University named after S. M. Kirov, First Vice-rector of this University, Director, General Director and Head of the Laboratory of Ion Exchange washers and Membranes AK”Institute of Chemical Sciences named after A. B. Bekturov”, Vice-President of NAS.Academician of NAS E. E.Ergozhin headed the working group of the developer of the scientific and scientific-technical policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the state program “Science”.

The works of scientists about Edil Yergozhin, about his contributions to chemical science and innovative technologies were presented. The book by A. B. Bekturov describes the main results of scientific research on the scientific and technical program and 14 projects within the framework of program-targeted and grant funding for 2015-2017.
