Al-Farabi Library organized a book exhibition “Rollan Seisenbaev – writer, publicist, publisher”.
Rollan Shakenovich Seisenbaev. was born on October 11, 1946 in Semipalatinsk,. Kazakh writer, playwright translator, publisher, public and political figure in Kazakhstan. He is the founder of the Abai House in London (1995), the Abai International Club (2000) and the international literary magazine Amanat.
in 1964 and entered the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute (Alma-Ata) at the Faculty of Geophysics, a year later transferred to the Semipalatinsk Technological Institute
After graduating from the institute in 1969, he worked as a journalist in the regional newspaper, on television, the regional Komsomol Committee, and deputy chairman of the city executive committee.
He took up literary work in 1967.
The first book of stories “Thirst” was published in Alma-Ata in 1975.

The book exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Seisenbayev Rollan Shakenovich consists of 4 sections.
Part 1. Rollan Seisenbaev is a writer, playwright, publisher.
He did not give interviews for a long time and did not write review articles about the world modern literary process, but silently prints the pure and wise Testament “Amanat” for future Kazakhs. Section 1 contains literature on the study of the work of Rollan Seisenbaev, one of the most prominent writers of modern Kazakhstan. Also, articles about Rolland Seisenbayev were posted in the magazines “Writers of Kazakhstan XX century” and “Bulletin” of Al-Farabi University.
Part 2. A classic who served culture and spirituality.
“Tosca” is the first collection of Rollan Seisenbaev. It includes the story “Namys” and about a dozen stories written in the footsteps of this legend. The stories are mainly divided into two groups. The first one reflects the hardships of the rear of the war years, the next one contains the stories of contemporaries. Collections of short stories, novellas by Rollan Seisenbaev from the collection “melancholy” are placed in section 2.
Part 3. Series “my 100 books”.
The series “My 100 Books” received warm wishes from N.А. Nazarbayev and was published. The words of Elbasy occupy the first place in the collection, prompting the reader to read with great interest.
The author of Rollan Seisenbaev is Kazakh youth studying abroad. At one of the meetings, Kazakh youth told the writer that they wanted to study Kazakh history, literature, philosophy in a concise, modern style. After this conversation, he began to publish this series of books. It will be published in Abai’s club and Rollan Seisenbayev’s publishing house. The collections are a new library series sorted by the masterpieces of world literature. Literary, philosophical works included in the library were selected in accordance with the world of thought, goals and interests of young people. Books are published in Kazakh, Russian and English.
Section 4. “R.S.” Publishing House.
“R.S.” The publishing house has been operating since 2005. This publishing house publishes the books “Amanat”, “Abay Club” and others. Section 4 contains the reprinted books of Kazakh writers. He wrote books by Al-Farabi, Abai Kunanbayuly, Shakarim Kudaiberdyuly, Ilyas Zhansugurov and others S. ”books reprinted by the publishing house were placed in section 4.
