The staff of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University received with great enthusiasm the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Zh. Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan “The unity of the people and systemic reforms are a solid basis for the country’s prosperity.”
Heads of departments, teachers, students, management and deans of faculties listened to the annual speech simultaneously at three points on the campus and unanimously supported the main priority goals and objectives of the country’s socio-economic development for the coming period, voiced by the President. Speaking out plans for the country’s long-term development in various areas, the President highlighted the spheres of education and science. According to the Head of State, universities should be responsible for the proper training of personnel, it is necessary to consider extending the term of grant funding for science up to five years.
