Subscriptions
Subscriptions work on the principle of "one window", serving all readers of the university, regardless of the faculty. To date, the subscription fund has over 380,116 copies of books. The dissertation fund of the subscription is constantly replenished with new works and currently amounts to 7867 copies of dissertations, 11407 abstracts. Readers are enrolled in subscriptions using a university ID-card, an electronic form is filled out for each reader. After the user receives the books, a notification about the issued literature is sent to his e-mail.
Since 2017, electronic book lending of literature has been carried out on a subscription. All information from paper forms were transferred to electronic ones. The employees of the subscription put barcodes on all the literature of the subsidiary fund with a postscript of each copy in the electronic catalog. The process of pasting the fund with bar-labels was launched with the parallel entry of this information into the database of the electronic catalog (cataloging the literature that had not been entered until that time and securing it according to storage signals).
