On August 10, 1845, a poet, composer, philosopher, educator, noble son of the Kazakh people Abai Kunanbayev was born. Abai’s legacy is the spiritual wealth of the Kazakh people. His works are immortal, over time they do not lose their relevance and to this day largely determine the guidelines of the social, cultural and spiritual life of the nation and the entire country.
Today is not just a celebration of the 175th anniversary of the great poet: this date opens one of the directions of the ideological work of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, based on the greatness of Abai and his heritage, since in his works Abai promoted such important and ever-relevant values as hard work , love of knowledge, kindness and wisdom.
