What is bookcrosing?
Bookcrossing or booksharing is a hobby and social movement that works on the principle of social networks and is close to a flash mob. After reading a book, a person leaves (“releases”) it in a public place (park, cafe, train, library, metro station) so that another, random person can find and read this book; he, in turn, must repeat the same action (information from open sources).
In the al-Farabi Library, the Bookcrossing shelf is located on the second floor in the Classic Reading Room (Room 217), with a reception desk to the right. You can take your favorite book and leave yours in return.
