Dear readers, we are pleased to inform you that Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi has been granted free test access from January 1 to June 30, 2025, to digitized newspaper archives published during the years of the Great Patriotic War as part of the project “Lines Scorched by War,” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. This is a unique opportunity to touch living history, preserve the memory of the heroism of the people, and pass it on to future generations.
Readers will have access to issues of five key wartime publications:
• Pravda newspaper;
• Izvestia newspaper;
• Literaturnaya Gazeta newspaper;
• Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper;
• Ogonyok weekly magazine;
Additionally, access is provided to the Collection of Underground Partisan Newspapers of Belarus.
Readers can not only read materials but also save and print articles (in compliance with copyright restrictions) and use the moderate text search function for research purposes.
