The creation of a modern electronic library collection began in 2012 at the Al-Farabi Library. The main goal of digitalization is to enhance competitiveness, improve the quality of life for the population, and accelerate and simplify the educational process. Most importantly, it aims to improve the quality of education.
Main Areas of Activity:
- Digitization of books, author abstracts, dissertations, bibliographic indices, and rare books that are available in limited quantities.
- Uploading electronic versions of publications to the library’s website.
- Creation of multi-volume and anniversary books about notable figures, public figures, poets, and writers in electronic format.
- Preservation of pages converted into a digital system in JPEG, TIFF, and PDF formats, and enhancement of page quality.
Requests for book digitization can be made in both traditional and online modes (via the library’s website).
