The aim of the Center for Development and Communication is to carry out scientific-methodological, consultative-informational, and mass work by implementing innovative technologies and supporting the external and internal connections of the library.
Main Areas of Activity:
- Organization and conduct of mass events aimed at promoting reading and engaging youth in cultural and recreational activities, etc.
- Organization and conduct of book exhibitions (thematic and new arrivals, including traveling book exhibitions) and presentations of new books.
- Organization and conduct of training seminars and webinars for teaching staff and researchers on international and national licensed databases.
- Organization and conduct of seminars, webinars, and training sessions for the professional development of library staff.
- Conducting guided tours of the library and the Al-Farabi Museum for users and guests of the library.
- Organization of library-bibliographic sessions and educational excursions for all first-year university students.
- Promotion and dissemination of library activities on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, and on the library’s YouTube channel.
- Creation of virtual exhibitions of new book arrivals and virtual thematic book exhibitions.
