A joint project of the Abai research institute at Al-Farabi Kazakh national university and the KazNU library named after al-farabi «Golden fund of lectures of scientists of KazNU».

In the project «GOLDEN FUND of lectures of scientists of KazNU», video lectures by veteran professors of the Kazakh National University are offered to your attention.

On the eve of the 90th anniversary of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University – the golden cradle of Kazakh education and science, looking back at the history of the university, we can say that all faculties of KazNU have their own unique scientific and pedagogical schools with more than half a century of history, their own scientific traditions covering various scientific directions and currents, as well as their founding scientists.

In this regard, the Abai Research Institute at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the KazNU Library named after Al-Farabi launched a joint project «GOLDEN FUND of lectures of scientists of KazNU». The aim of the project is to popularize and ensure scientific and pedagogical continuity by publishing video lectures by veteran teachers of the Kazakh National University on the official websites of the Abai Research Institute and the KazNU Library.

The scientists who founded scientific schools and their searches formed the basis for the formation of independent science not only of the national university, but also of the independent Kazakh state as a whole. Speaking about the history of scientific schools, first of all, we recall great personalities who evoke in us a sense of deep respect – professors-scientists with deep scientific knowledge, who served as an example for many generations of scientists, paved the way for the formation of various scientific directions in different fields of science, who managed to transform the faculty in which they worked to the scientific laboratory of the university. The lecture and lessons of our great scientists will never be forgotten. Each of them has its own school, which they formed at the national university, and these research schools have continued their existence over the years of independence. The traditions of fundamental research schools established at the faculties of KazNU continue to exist, and their experience and teaching continue to serve as the basis for the development of many scientific areas. On the 90^th anniversary of our university, each of the scientific schools contributes to the development of the Kazakhstani science with its impressive results.
