In the library. Al-Farabi held a leadership lecture by the First President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the Institute for Mathematical Research of Complex Systems of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Professor Askar Akaev.
In the modern system of international relations, the share of each Central Asian state is determined by its economic and demographic potential, geographical location, relations with the world, and, above all, its role in regional and international organizations with neighboring countries.
In connection with this event, the al-Farabi library organized a book exhibition.

The purpose of the exhibition: using books and materials from the library fund to show the cooperation of Kazakhstan with the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, about good neighborliness, and stable relations between the two republics.

Zhana Kazakhstan: zharu men zhangyry zholy.This section of the exhibition presents the decrees of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev, Bereket Karibayev’s book “30 Bright Stories of Independence” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence, “New Industrialization”, “Kazakhstan Brands”, as well as the book “Made in Kazakhstan”.
Kazakhstan zhane Kyrgyzstan yntymaktastygy.The basis for the formation, development and strengthening of relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic is the geographical proximity of the two countries, deep historical roots, similar language, culture and traditions. Today, due to the absence of fundamental contradictions in relations between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, the two countries are reliable and equal strategic partners.
Kyrgyz kaganatyn kurgan uly el .This section presents books on the history of Kyrgyzstan, Askar Akaev’s book “Kyrgyz statehood and the folk epos” Manas “.
Kyrgyz zhazyshylarynyn adebiettery. This section of the exhibition presents books by famous Kyrgyz writers, in particular, the complete 8-volume collection of Chingiz Aitmatov, the Manas encyclopedia.
KazNU tarihy. This section contains anniversary publications dedicated to the history and achievements of the university: chronicle of KazNU, books about scientists and teachers of the university, 3-volume encyclopedias for graduates of the university “Elite”, “Chronicle of KazNU”.
