Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was visited by the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakh statesman and politician, diplomat Krymbek Kusherbayev. During the working visit, the Secretary of State held a meeting with youth representatives on the topic “Prospects for the development of the creative industry.”
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov, Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanysh Ergaliyev, Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alisher Abdykadyrov, Deputy Mayor of Almaty Yerzhan Babakumarov, university faculty, young scientists and students.

Independence is an old dream of our ancestors. It has been 30 years since Kazakhstan became an independent country and lives as an equal member of the world community. During these years, under the leadership of the Head of State N. Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan was recognized as a peace-loving country. Kazakhstan has become an independent country with its established borders, state symbols, Constitution, language, national values, traditions and culture.
December 16, 1991 became a sacred day for our people. Turkey is the first country to recognize the independence of Kazakhstan. Not only our friendly Turkey, but all the countries of the world have recognized and supported our independence. The Republic of Kazakhstan has formed its policy, economy, currency, all spheres of society as a whole in accordance with the new policy of an independent country. Today, our country, under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is striving for a brighter future. Therefore, this year the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan is celebrated throughout the year in the country with great respect.
The purpose of this exhibition is to show through the documents of the library fund that the path traveled by the Republic of Kazakhstan over 30 years after gaining independence has led to success despite the difficulties that our people have experienced today, despite the instability in the world, Kazakhstanis choose their own path and build their dream the eternal country of Kazakh Eli, live and work fulfilling the covenant of our ancestors and pass on their bright hope to future generations

The al-Farabi Library presents the exhibition “Tauelsizdik: аkikatka ainalgan arman”
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the al-Farabi library presented the exhibition “Tauelsizdik: aқiқatқa aynalgan arman”. The al-Farabi library, together with the whole country, contributes to the celebration of independence and presents books, magazines and other documents from the collections of the al-Farabi library dedicated to the theme of independence at the exhibition. This exhibition inspires us to remember the 30-year history of our country.

Brief overview of the exhibition
Elyn suigen, ely suigen Elbasy the exhibition opens a cycle of books dedicated to Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev. When our country gained independence, N.A. Nazarbayev took the initiative and led Independent Kazakhstan forward with a far-sighted policy. Here we will get acquainted with various books that reveal the image of Elbasy from all sides. In particular, the book “Biz biletin Elbasy” tells about the life of the president from childhood, from youth to wisdom.Witnesses of that period – teachers, classmates and classmates, compatriots and contemporaries, state and public figures of the President, introduced the President to aspects as a student, comrade, friend, person, shared their thoughts and interesting memories. - Tauelsyzdyk zhane Tungush Prezident The works of the First President, N. Nazarbayev make up the next section of the exhibition. In this section, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in his book “Kazakhstan’s Way”, talks about the most difficult and brightest moments in the modern history of Kazakhstan. Each of the nine chapters reveals the most important steps towards the formation of an independent state. The book is built in the form of an appeal by the Head of State to the youth of the country. This section of the exhibition presents the conceptual reflections of N.A. Nazarbayev, dedicated to such values as the fate of the country and land, the honor of the native language, traditions, family, in the book by N. A. Nazarbayev “Uly dala ұlagaty: thoughts, tolgany”. This section presents other books of the Head of State.
- Bilyk sabaktastagy in the section of the exhibition dedicated to the succession of power, we see publications about the work of the President of the country K. Tokayev, his activities in society through the continuation of Elbasy’s policy, about today’s changes. Here, K. Tokayev’s book “Nur and Shadow” is devoted to the history of the formation, development and strengthening of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy. The book contains a number of historical facts that provide great educational material about the development of our country.The book about our President K. Tokayev “the right choice is the preservation of sovereignty” also attracts everyone’s attention. Here, K. Tokayev’s book “Diplomacy of the Republic of Kazakhstan” gives a comprehensive analysis of the formation and development of the foreign policy of our state over the years of independence. This book, written in simple language, attracts not only specialists in the field of diplomacy, but also the public.
- Tauelsyzdyk: akikatka arnalgan arman The history of the country on the way to independence completes this section of the exhibition. Here, “History of the formation of the Kazakh Khanate” by B. Karibaev in this monograph, the author reveals the historical role of the khans Kerey and Zhanibek, historical figures who laid the foundations of the Kazakh Khanate. This section presents the books of M. Koigeldiyev “Alash movement” and other historical books.
