As part of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Al-Farabi Treasury hosted an international scientific and practical conference “Journalism, publishing, media design: trend and development trends today”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of T.S. Amandosov.
Tauman Salykbayevich Amandosov Doctor of Philology, professor, scientist, journalist.
Tauman Amandosov has written research papers on the theory and practice of Kazakh journalism, press genres, the media system and the role of journalism in society. The direction of scientific research is devoted to the problems of the theory and history of Kazakh journalism.
In connection with this event, the Library. Al-Farabi organized an information and documentary exhibition.

Medeubekuly “Journalistic Skill: Knowledge and Taste” and others .
