An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence, on the topic “30th anniversary of independent Kazakhstan – the legal model of Nursultan Nazarbayev as the basis of political stability and economic prosperity” was held at KazNU named after Al-Farabi.
This year, the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan is celebrated in the country with great respect throughout the year. The conference was devoted to the topic of the formation of the economy and political and legal sphere of independent Kazakhstan. It was about the place of Kazakhstan in the world, about the modern Kazakh society.

The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey Arslan Zukhtu, Deputy Executive Director of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Igor Rogov, representatives of the highest and local legislative, judicial and executive authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstani and international experts from Germany, Finland, France, China, Azerbaijan, Russia, and the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as representatives of civil society institutions.
In connection with this event, the Library. Al-Farabi organized an informational and documentary exhibition on the topic: “Kazakhstan law and economy over the years of independence”
The Al-Farabi library, together with its country, will contribute to the celebration of independence and will present books, magazines and other documents from the funds of the Al-Farabi library on the theme of independence at the exhibition. This exhibition inspires us to once again remember the new history of our country on the way to independence.
