In the Al-Farabi library, the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, within the framework of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, hosted the XI International Birimzhanov Congress on Chemistry and Chemical Technology, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of B.A. Birimzhanov.
Topics of chemistry, chemical technology and education were discussed at the international congress.
Batyrbek Akhmetovich Birimzhanov – Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Honored Scientist of the Kazakh SSR. Scientific works are devoted to natural salts and ways of their use, chemistry of fertilizers.
