At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize, Doctor of Philology, Professor Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov delivered a leadership lecture on the topic “Journalist’s Baggage”. The event was organized as part of the 70th anniversary of the master of the pen.
Within the framework of the event, the audience was also presented with the photo exhibition “Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov: Worker. Journalist. Editor “dedicated to the work of a talented writer. The exhibition featured the author’s books published in different years, creative and research works telling about his activities.
In connection with this event, the Library. Al-Farabi organized an informational and documentary exhibition.

The exhibition opens with materials about Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov. Here you can find the encyclopedia “Journalism of Kazakhstan”, the reference book “Kazakhstan zhazushylary”, the book “Bizdin elite” and the article by K. Tokayev “The scale of thought and skill”.

This section of the exhibition is dedicated to the works of Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov. Among them are the books: “Yeldik sons: әr zhyldardagy zhazbalar”, “Kashakan kryktagan Kazakstan: saparnamalar men sұkhbattar”, “Tultuma men teltuma: өleң audarmasynyң theories of men poetics: zertteu.”
