“Foundations and Technologies of Integrative Psychology”
At the initiative of the Department of General and Applied Psychology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, with the participation of leading national and international scholars in the field of psychological science and education, an international round table entitled “Foundations and Technologies of Integrative Psychology” was held.
The event took place under the academic supervision of Fatima Sagymbekovna Tashimova, Doctor of Psychological Sciences and Professor, and was devoted to the discussion of contemporary integrative approaches in psychology, issues of interdisciplinary interaction, as well as the development of applied psychological technologies.
The round table was officially opened with a welcoming address by Bekzhan Berikbaevich Meirbayev, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In his speech, he emphasized the significance of integrative psychology for the development of the humanities and for training a new generation of specialists.
The international round table served as an important academic platform for the exchange of professional experience, discussion of current trends in psychology, and strengthening of international scientific cooperation, thereby confirming the high scientific and educational potential of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
As part of the event, a book exhibition from the university library collections dedicated to psychology was also organized. The exhibition featured works on global psychological science as well as scholarly publications by the university’s faculty members.
