Dear guests, colleagues, and book lovers!
In honor of Librarian’s Day, our library hosted a rich and eventful week filled with activities involving students and readers. The main goal of the week was to highlight the importance of the work of library professionals, increase interest in reading, and promote spiritual values.
Throughout the week, the library staff together with active students implemented a range of cultural and creative projects, including:
📘 The campaign “Don’t Forget, Reader!” gave readers who had forgotten to return books on time the opportunity to bring them back without a fee.

🧠 The intellectual project “Book Quest” helped students broaden their horizons, develop cognitive abilities, and improve logical thinking.
💬 The literary evening “Let’s Discuss a Book” became a platform for communication, exchanging opinions, and spiritual enrichment among book enthusiasts.
🎨 A creative master class was also held.

🎶 The “Acoustic Evening” inspired participants and created a warm atmosphere, combining creativity and knowledge in a soulful gathering.
👥 The event “Meeting with a Hero” provided an opportunity to interact with successful professionals, learn their stories of success, and gain motivation.
In addition, a traditional book fair was organized on the Farabi alley, where students and city residents were able to explore new publications from publishing houses such as Kókzhiek, Qazaq University, and others.
The week concluded with a festive concert dedicated to Librarian’s Day. The program featured musical and poetic performances by students, and the most active readers and student participants were awarded.
This week of events highlighted the vital role of the library in society, contributing to the development of reading culture and creative activity among young people.
Our library will continue to organize such informative and inspiring events aimed at fostering interest in reading and supporting young people in their pursuit of knowledge.
