Movkebayeva Galiya Akhmetkalieva, was born on May 9, 1962 in Guryev. In 1979, she graduated from school No. 81 in Almaty and in the same year entered the KazGU named after S.M.Kirov. Since 2011, he has been a professor at the Department of International Relations and World Economy. In 1997 , she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “The foreign policy concept of F. Naumana” specialty 07.00.15.- history of international relations and foreign policy. In May 2009, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “The history of the formation of the foreign policy strategy of the European Union (theory and practice)”, specialty 07.00.15 – history of international relations and foreign policy.
In connection with this event, the Al-Farabi Library organized a book exhibition.
